The opening is large enough to cover the outer lip of any 5-gallon bucket, ensuring that grounds do not enter the finished product.
Our filter bags are strong enough to hold up to 20 lbs of wet-ground coffee.

-Insert one commercial filter into the 5-gallon brewing container.
-Pour 5 pounds (2 kg) of coarse-ground coffee into the filter.
-Slowly pour 14 quarts of filtered cool water into the filter, making sure to saturate all the coffee grounds.
-Twist the bag closed. Leave plenty of room for the coffee to move around.
-Cover the lid and let brew for 12-24 hours.
-Drain concentrate into a storage container.
-Carefully remove the filter with grounds from the brewing container. Dispose of filter and grounds. Rinse the container and air-dry it for reuse.
