About this item

  • DRIES TO THE TOUCH BUT KEEPS A WET, GLOSSY BLOOD LOOK: This is alcohol-based drying blood — it dries to a touch-safe surface while retaining an ultra-realistic wet, glossy appearance that looks like real blood. Apply in THIN LAYERS for best drying results. Thick applications will stay tacky longer. For fastest drying, apply one thin layer, let it set, then add more if needed. Available in three shades: Dark (deep, dark blood), Fresh (bright red), and Scab (oxidized brownish-red). Mix shades for custom blood effects.
  • WON'T TRANSFER OR SMUDGE — STAYS PUT ALL DAY: Once dry, the blood holds its position. It won't drip, run, transfer to clothing, or smudge off on contact. Users report lasting through full-day conventions, haunted house shifts, stage performances, and even rain without fading or moving. Remove with soap and water or a makeup remover wipe. Test on a small area first — may stain some skin tones and fabrics temporarily.
  • SHAKE WELL AND APPLY WITH DROPPER, BRUSH, SPONGE, OR FINGERS: The bottle has a built-in dropper for controlled application. For broad coverage, pour onto a brush or sponge. For drip effects, apply directly from the dropper and let gravity do the work. For splatter effects, flick from a brush. For wound detailing, use a fine brush to paint realistic blood pooling, trails, and seepage. Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use.
  • PERFECT FOR WOUNDS, SCABS, GORE, AND BLOOD EFFECTS: Use on bare skin, over silicone prosthetics (pair with NC Silicone Modeling Compound), over alcohol-activated palette makeup (pair with NC FX Alcohol Palette or Zombie Palette), on costumes and clothing, and on props. Create everything from fresh knife wounds and gunshot injuries to dried scabs, old bruises, and layered dried blood effects. Layer Dark, Fresh, and Scab shades together for maximum realism.
  • FOR SFX ARTISTS, HALLOWEEN, HAUNTED HOUSES, FILM & STAGE: Designed for professional makeup artists in film, TV, and theater — but also great for Halloween costumes, haunted attractions, cosplay, conventions, LARP events, moulage training, and anyone who needs realistic blood effects that last. Also available in 16.9 fl oz (500ml) bottles for high-volume use. CAUTION: Do not ingest or use near eyes or mouth. Do not use on broken skin. Flammable — use in well-ventilated area. Keep away from children.
