Dewdrop Oil Cleanser - Gentle Makeup & Sunscreen Remover with Chamomile & Pink Grapefruit, 1oz
About this item
The Oil Cleanser We Made Because We Couldn't Find One We Trusted. Cleansing oils are everywhere right now, and most of them are either expensive K-beauty imports or drugstore versions thick with mineral oil and synthetic emulsifiers. We wanted one that did the simple thing oil cleansers are supposed to do: dissolve makeup, lift impurities, and leave skin softer than it found it. Without anything synthetic in the bottle. So we made one. Dewdrop is built on a base of cold-pressed apricot kernel, virgin sweet almond, and macadamia oils — three whole-oil cleansers that have been used for centuries before "skincare" was a category. We infuse organic jojoba oil with whole myrrh and rosemary for the full spectrum of herbal properties. Then we round it out with a small amount of organic chamomile and pink grapefruit essential oils — calming and brightening, respectively, and the only scent you'll find in the bottle. It works by oil chemistry. Your skin's sebum is oil. Makeup, sunscreen, and city pollution are oil-soluble. Oil dissolves oil — washing your face with this picks up everything that wouldn't budge for water-based cleansers, and leaves the good lipids behind. Drape a hot damp cloth over your face after, and the pores open just enough to let everything wipe clean. WHO IS THIS FOR? The person who's been over-stripping their skin with foam cleansers and wants to start over. The clean-beauty convert who's curious about oil cleansing but doesn't want a Korean import in plastic packaging. Anyone wearing daily sunscreen who needs a real way to remove it (foam doesn't cut it). The makeup wearer who's tired of micellar water that doesn't actually clean. WHAT'S IN THE BOTTLE (1 OZ): Apricot kernel oil, virgin sweet almond oil, organic jojoba oil infused with myrrh and rosemary, macadamia oil, castor oil, rosemary oleoresin extract, organic chamomile essential oil, organic pink grapefruit essential oil. Eight ingredients. All of them readable. HOW TO USE IT: Massage a dime-sized amount into dry skin, including gently around the eyes (yes, it's safe for eye makeup). Drape a hot, damp cloth over your face for a few seconds. Wipe away. For heavy makeup days, repeat once with a cotton pad first, then finish with the warm cloth. THREE QUICK ANSWERS: "Will it break me out?" — Apricot, jojoba, and almond are low-comedogenic. Most acne-prone skin actually does better with this than with foam cleansers. "Does the bottle look small?" — It's 1 oz on purpose. A dime-sized amount per use means it lasts most people 2–3 months at nightly use. "Can I use this with other H&H products?" — Yes. It pairs perfectly with our Chimney Sweep Tallow Facial Soap for a two-step nighttime clean. This is the cleansing oil we wanted to exist. Now it does.
