  • Less White Cast, Thanks to Real Cocoa: Zinc oxide is white, which is why most mineral sunscreen goes on chalky. We add a very light tint of organic cocoa powder so the zinc rubs in warm instead of ghost-white. Less white cast than a plain zinc sunscreen. No iron oxides, no dyes.
  • How Light Is the Tint? Very. In the tube it looks like a pale cocoa cream. On skin it blends as you rub, so you see skin instead of a chalky film. The cocoa is there to tame the zinc, nothing more.
  • Smells Like Cookies, On Purpose: The scent comes from organic cocoa powder and vanilla oleoresin, both food ingredients. No fragrance oil. Finally, a sunscreen you don't have to hold your breath to put on.
  • Grass-Fed Beef Tallow Base, No Water: Non-nano zinc oxide is the only active, carried in grass-fed beef tallow, fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, sea buckthorn oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. It moisturizes while it protects, so skin feels soft instead of tight and dusty.

  • How to Use: Shake well. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun and rub in until it blends. Give it about 5 minutes to sink in before you get dressed. Reapply at least every 2 hours, after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and right after towel drying.
