About this item

  • Onyx Finish: This France Luxe Extra Volume Barrette is finished in a bold marbled swirl of black, gray, and cream tones, hand-polished for a glossy, glasslike shine. Its deep, curved silhouette closes with a reinforced spring-tension clasp built to gather very thick or heavy hair.
  • Deep-Set Clasp for Extra-Thick Hair: This Extra Volume Barrette closes with France Luxe's classic spring-tension clasp, set inside a curved silhouette that's noticeably roomier and deeper than a standard barrette. Two prongs latch firmly over an arm, gathering a substantial section of very thick, coarse, or heavy hair and holding it securely in place through a French twist, ponytail, or half-up style.
  • Handcrafted in France from Cellulose Acetate: Every France Luxe barrette is hand-cut, polished, and assembled in France from cellulose acetate, a plant-based material valued for its glossy, glasslike finish and comfortable wear. Smooth, rounded edges rest gently against the head and glide through hair instead of snagging or pulling, so the hair clip feels as good as it looks, wear after wear.
  • Built for Very Thick or Heavy Hair: At about 4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches deep, this barrette is sized to gather significantly more hair than a standard barrette, making it a go-to for extremely thick, coarse, or heavy hair that other clips can't contain. Because of its roomy, deep-set clasp, it's best suited to very thick hair; fine, thin, or lightly thick hair may not fill the clasp enough to stay secure.
  • Thoughtful Gift for Thick-Haired Friends and Family: Packaged as a standalone accessory, this barrette makes a welcome gift for anyone who has struggled to find a clip that holds their hair. Pair it with other France Luxe colorways to build a collection, or gift it solo to anyone with very thick or heavy hair looking for a secure, salon-quality hold.
